The Best Venue for The Best Day! Really pleased that we decided to have our wedding reception at the Orangery. The way they laid out the venue was lovely and the staff went above and beyond throughout the whole process, especially Michelle and Kerri. We both just wanted to say a massive thank you for your services and support on our wedding day! It wouldn't have been the same without all that you did for us and we are very grateful.

Brain Tumour Research recently hosted their Torpoint Walk of Hope at Mount Edgcumbe and we were generously supported by the lovely team at The Orangery. We started and finished our walk beside Aunt Em's shop, which they also manage and sell a variety of delicious drinks, coffee and pastries (the sausage roll was a particular favourite!). We had the best wedding day at the Orangery! From start to finish, Michelle and the team were accommodating and were always there to answer any questions or queries. The team were attentive and set up the venue with all our decorations the day before. They took the time to understand our vision & we were so happy with the whole day! The food was incredible & the views were stunning. There were lots of amazing photo opportunities around the Orangery and grounds. We cannot thank the team enough! Mr and Mrs Holloway x

Honestly, it's really to put into words our wedding day, because I feel words don't justify how Michelle, Kerri and the whole team as The Orangery made us feel on what was the best day of our lives. Michelle was so quick and responsive to all of my questions and small details and no question was ever a silly question. We met with Michelle and Kerri the day before our wedding and they made us feel so at ease and everything was organised and prepped ready to go. Kerri set up the reception decorations for us which was such an amazing treat to walk into what was a stunning room. Kerri was so attentive throughout the whole food service, with so many compliments from our friends and family about how delicious the food was and the wine choice as well. The whole team was just incredible, even with constantly serving us throughout the night and we can't say a bigger thank you to The Orangery. The actual venue itself is stunning with so many different areas for guests to explore. It was such an experience, especially with getting a ferry back across to Plymouth to end the night. We cannot express our gratitude so much. What a place to get married. Thank you so much!!

2.6.23 Wow what a wedding day at The Orangery! Such a special place. Michelle and Kerry were brilliant throughout the whole experience. Their attention to detail, support with decisions and flexible relaxed vibe was perfect. We got married at Mount Edgcumbe House - outside as it was a beautiful sunny day. Then made our way to The Orangery. The combination of the 2 buildings was perfect. Mount Edgcumbe house looks like a castle so I felt like a princess and The Orangery felt like a setting on the French Riviera! It really is an incredibly beautiful building and all our guests were so impressed! Michelle and the team made sure the whole day ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We chose the buffet and it was absolutely delicious and the pasties in the evening disappeared in seconds! Yum! I cannot recommend this venue enough. So many beautiful photo opportunities all around the venues and you just feel so special. It truly was the BEST DAY EVER with so many incredible memories to cherish. Forever grateful to Michelle for making it happen ❤️

An amazing venue with incredible staff who worked so hard to make our wedding reception the best afternoon and evening ever. The venue is a beautiful building that allows plenty of room for guests and vendors, plus the amazing gardens that are a wonderful outdoor space. Thank you to Michelle and her team for such an incredible experience and for impeccable cooperation from over a year and half beforehand right up to the day. You all truly gave us the day we dreamed of!

Our experience at The Orangery was truly amazing! The team were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Michelle (event coordinator) went above and beyond and had an amazing eye for detail. We had several comments throughout the evening about how great the service was. The hog roast we opted for was a hit and everyone loved it - some even went for thirds...! The venue's layout, both indoors and outdoors, was ideal for a summer wedding, allowing our guests to enjoy the festivities in a relaxed and beautiful setting. Many guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and they were able to enjoy the surrounding gardens throughout the day. We highly recommend The Orangery to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding reception venue. Will & Lily

We had our mini wedding celebration here and used their VIP section to host an afternoon tea. The food was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming despite it being a very busy day. We were allowed to decorate the tables and entrance and were able to give short speeches. Although the cafe was open to the public the VIP area felt quite separate and you have your own door to access it. Just a note on a warm Summer’s day in August it did get quite hot inside and I felt our group of 48 was the maximum I would recommend for a gathering in that area.

Update August 2024 Awful toilets replaced with clean modern facility. Really relaxing part of the world. You can grab a take away coffee and a nibbly something and take them to the nearby pebbly beach, or you can sit in the beautiful fountain Garden just outside. Prices are reasonable. Quality is good. We are very much looking forward to future visits. Updated 31st March 2024 Reastraunt staff, perfect, charming, friendly. Young lady on the coffee machine took life a tad too seriously. Food delicious. Take Away coffee cups are way too small. It takes no more time, and pence more milk to give people a coffee of a decent size. This doesn't drop it from a full 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 but it's just a shame, as its an easy fix. Updated 28th August 2023 Bust day to day. Lots of new faces on the team, not all of them happy ones. Updated July 1st 2023 Ida and Kerry were super, even within a marvellous team, these two stood out as being simply marvellous.
