We had a wonderful time trekking with the alpacas today. Ben was very knowledgable and also great company to be around. The alpacas were all super friendly and the walk gave us great uninterrupted views of Plymouth and Drakes Island. Really perfect way to kick off 2024. Mud friendly boots recommended! Thanks again, Doug and Rach

This was such a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Ben was an incredible host. His knowledge of the park, animals and local area really enhanced our day. The alpacas were wonderful, with their individual personalities emerging throughout the experience. I visited with my nice and we will definitely return. Thanks for a great day.

We had a wonderful time with Ben and the alpaca boys! We learnt loads about alpacas, the park, wildlife and the local area. The alpacas are gorgeous and friendly and Landy was my particular pal. There were just the two of us booked on so we got loads of alpaca attention and got to know their individual personalities on a long but gentle walk around the park. Ben also took a load of fantastic pictures of us with the alpacas so we didn't have to juggle cameras and leads. He's a fantastic host and clearly loves the alpacas and the park. I'd give this experience 6 out of 5 if they'd let me.

OMG 😳 wow
What can I say? Wish I’d never given anything else a 5 ⭐️ before because this place is the only one ever that’s actually a 5 star!
Ben was so welcoming he felt like an old friend.
We had a really hard team to work with (Austism/ADHD older child who loves all animals, younger child, head strong, who doesn’t care if an animal can be dangerous, and 2 adults with zero knowledge of most animals).
Ben had us all with a well matched alpaca almost immediately. He explain everything so well and taught us so much about the alpacas and how to gain their trust. His care for the alpacas was so genuine and infectious.
Really I cannot recommend this experience enough.
If you’re put off by the price please don’t be. It’s worth every penny even if you don’t have a lot of spare cash.
Ben and these alpacas are incredible company and I’ll be back as soon as I have enough spare money to do so. *also NB people en route and Ben told us Harry is naughty…. He must be misunderstood IMO….. my little one and him are besties, she hates most animals and most animals hate her!!!!
Do this tour if you’re on the fence, you will not regret it

An incredible and unique way to spend time at Mount Edgcumbe. Ben was the perfect and most welcoming host, super in-tune with all the wildlife in the park, and his good nature and expanse of knowledge made the entire experience completely unforgettable.
Walking the alpacas itself was of course a highlight, and surprisingly relaxing too. You quickly start to notice and appreciate their quirks and characters, and there was a genuine enjoyment of their walk which really came across.
Would 100% recommend to anyone, especially great for families.

Had the most charming and wonderful experience today of taking the alpacas for a walk at Mount Edgcumbe country park.
Ben was clearly very knowledgeable about these enigmatic animals and it was a delight to learn about them in such a fun manner.
The alpacas were gentle and seemed to thoroughly enjoy their outing with us. I’d thoroughly recommend this wonderful experience.

My niece and I had a wonderful alpaca experience today. We got to feed the alpacas, then went on a long walk with Landy, Lusty, Henry and Harry - and of course Ben who led the experience. Ben was amazing, so much knowledge about the alpacas, but also all about Mount Edgcumbe - the flora, fauna and history. It was super interesting and we had an absolutely amazing time. Best alpaca experience ever! Also saw dolphins on the sound but I guess that can’t be guaranteed every time 😁.

This is an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves alpacas. This walk is very different to most alpaca walks, as you get to experience everything to do with alpacas, as well as enjoying a long walk with scenic views. Ben was very lovely and informative, so I definitely learnt loads of exciting facts. I would definitely go again.

We had the best time! The alpaca's all had their own personality which made the walk such an enjoyable experience.
We met with Ben, who was immediately welcoming and extremely personable. We fed the sheep first (they were incredibly noisy and demanding attention; so friendly and soft). Then we fed the alpacas which was a lovely experience. Ben gave lots of info and 'Dad jokes' throughout 🤣.
We each got to walk an alpaca, and because of Ben's guidance all of us felt extremely comfortable. We had a beautiful long walk and the alpaca's seemed very happy. The one my daughter walked, Landy, purred throught which made her feel very special. We even got nose kisses from them 😍.
Would definitely recommend.
