We booked a table for 8 for Sunday Carvery. The meal was fantastic, lots of well cooked and seasoned fresh veg alongside a decent selection of meats and a vegetarian wellington. We were very impressed with the quick & friendly service at the bar and at the table, special thanks to Leia, and the kitchens ability to serve decent food, it was super busy and deservedly so. I highly recommend the Sunday Carvery- what you do before hand, well thats your business :)

Couldn't fault it .... Brilliant visit for lunch and a drink. Had a lovely beef and mustard bap which was available on the bar and a portion of chips. Delicious 😋😋😋. I've signed up for membership and can't wait to visit again. Thanks team 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.

First time we have been here, very friendly staff behing the bar. Really good atmosphere and even better, a damned good pint, well kept. We didn't have anything to eat but judging by the number of people dining here I would think that the food is good too. We'll definitely be coming back. 😄

Wow, what a fantastic place to visit. We were a group of 11 occupying 6 rooms and if we could give more than 5 stars then we would. Each room was of top quality and extreme comfort. The carvery was wonderful and plentiful as was the lovely breakfast. We travelled from Penzance for a one night stay and are already planning our return trip. The whole staff were tremendous and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to everyone.

The best pub for carvery. The service is outstanding and they are very helpful when it comes to disabilities needs. The landlord is a very kind man and so are all of his staff. We went with two friends who are vegetarian. The beetroot and butternut squash pie which they said was lovely but, they came last year with us and it was the same pie and they wished it had been something different but I can't fault if as I'm a messy eater and there's usually 4 different meats to choose from so I'm extremely happy

This was our second visit, and once again it was truly fantastic. Our dog was made to feel just as welcome as we were, which means so much. The food is absolutely incredible, and the atmosphere makes every meal special. Dan the owner, along with Billy, Kian, and the rest of the wonderful team, go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay — thank you all for another memorable visit and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

We went here for a carvery on Sunday. Quality was outstanding fresh and hot -Billy was serving and was super friendly and efficient - portions were great and the beef was the star of the show tender and melt in your mouth. Well done all the staff and team were so friendly al- So much so we’ve booked again his week

Booked Sunday carvery. Meal was excellent, good good & good value. Had music in bar on Sunday afternoon, which was very loud in a relatively small pub. Was a bit deafening when eating in area next door. Don't get me wrong I like going to a pub to hear music but not so much that it was difficult to hold a conversation over the meal.

The welcome, service and food was nothing short of outstanding. We went for the large carvery, big mistake, definitely needed a nap afterwards. The quality of the meat and the cooking is superb. If I could fault the venue it would have to be no pillows or duvets to aid a nap. Seriously though, if you’re looking for great quality food and service then this HAS to be at the top of your list. Next time we visit Cornwall we will book again. A big thank you to the staff for your service.

We recently used the Edgcumbe Arms across our wedding weekend and we had an amazing experience. We booked 3 rooms which were perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable with lovely views and a fabulous breakfast each morning. We had a meal on the Friday, the food was lovely, great service and reasonably priced. We then had a larger gathering on the Sunday after the wedding for a carvery. Although it did take us a little longer than expected to get our table as the pub was extremely busy, the team was very apologetic for the wait. The carvery was amazing, plenty of choice and massive portion sizes for a very reasonable price! We cannot thank Dan and the rest of the team enough for how fabulous they are! They were so friendly and helpful in all our planning and during our stay, no matter how busy! We are so incredibly grateful and would definitely recommend!
