What a lovely venue, gorgeous setting, we had a 2 bedroom apartment that had a sitting room and kitchen. Clean, tidy and has lovely views. We stayed as we were attending a wedding a few minutes away so location was perfect. Unfortunately there was no hot water for the entire stay, staff assured us this would be fixed but it wasn't. Had to have cold showers the morning of the wedding & no shower the following day as I just couldn't bring myself to do it. We were promised a follow up message which never came. This is the only reason for reducing star rating.

Took my mum for a cream tea and was not disappointed. Excellent service in lovely surroundings and the cream tea was excellent (jam first of course 😁)! All the tables are set with china cups and linen tablecloths and napkins. Will definitely be visiting again. ☕🫖

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend in Rame. The family were so welcoming and the rooms were beautifully set up with everything we could need and more. The walk to Polhawn Fort was super straightforward and very easy to do even in the dark on the way home. We've already recommended Rame Barton to friends who are coming back for another wedding at Polhawn Fort in June!

I had a lovely experience staying here with my family for a long weekend, the property is spacious and comfortable, in an excellent location surrounded by stunning scenery. Everybody was incredibly hospitable, even their dog, Buddy, will be your best friend for a few pets!

Recently stayed with Breock and family at Rame Barton as we were attending a wedding locally. We stayed in the 2 bedroom whitsand apartment, apartment was perfect for what we needed with all the essentials. We were warmly welcomed and knew if we needed anything we only needed to ask. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I stayed in the Cawsand Suite for the night and it was absolutely brilliant. The house is extremely well looked after - everything from the cleanliness to the decor is perfect. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was on another level - fresh local produce (eggs from the garden), endless coffee and a lovely setting. Despite the Covid measures in place, it still felt like a home from home. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - we'll be back!

A fantastic place to stay, very clean, comfortable and Karen was a great host, nothing was a problem. We attended our son's wedding at polhawn fort which is a five minute walk down a rough path, cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks, we will be back to explore the local area which is stunning!

Absolutely wonderful place. There is not a single thing to fault. The welcome and hospitality is second to none, the thoughtful extras (including shampoo bars!!) in the apartment are incredibly appreciated and the kids are in their element here. Views are spectacular, the apartment, house and grounds are fantastic. All in all we could not recommend this place enough. 5*!

This is an absolutely stunning place. Paul and Karen were wonderful - went out of their way to make our short stay as great as possible. Lovely spacious rooms, fantastic food, quiet and serene countryside, and friendly, welcoming hosts. Thanks for everything!...including doing our washing!!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. We stayed there as we were attending a wedding at the fort nearby, which was a five minute walk down a public footpath. The guest house was lovely as were the owners. The room was huge and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast was freshly made to order and was delicious. Highly recommended.
