Great community cafe serving tea, coffee and cakes. Good service,atmosphere and prices.

The Old Ship has just re-opened as a little cafe selling tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes on Monday and Thursday mornings. The old pub has been shut for years and burnt down in 2013. The cafe is the first stage of a redevelopment plan organised by local residents. Eventually there will be a pub and information centre and 4 flats above that will be let out for affordable rents to local people. Well worth a visit!
