We love it there so much! Best place to walk the dog and have a meal. There are beaches, woodlands and beautiful views everywhere all over the estate. We walk our dog there almost every day.

Stunning country gardens, the largest public country garden in England.

Tucked away in the forgotten part of Cornwall. Free entry with just a charge for parking, which is very reasonable. Mount Edgcumbe has great walks around the park and lovely coastal walks, which can take you to Kingsand and Cawsand. The formal gardens are well kept, feed the ducks in the duck pond, or visit the folly. There's a great pub too!

We didn't go in the house but wandered around the garden which was lovely and went to look around the cafe area which also had the odd out buildings with other small businesses in them. It's definitely worth taking the ferry across to mount edgcumbe to spend a few hours to see all the sights.

Lovely picturesque gardens and house. Lots of nice walks and areas to sit & enjoy the views, very relaxing.

If you are lucky enough to have grown up in and around the Antony / Rame peninsula or have ever visited, you will know what a special place this is. I have managed to include photos from some 20 years of visits. Whilst I have maybe only been in the house once or twice that I remember, I have been to the country park and grounds dozens of times. It may even be in the triple figures with multiple visits some years when I have been living at home. As a child, this was a favourite drive out and walk for us and our Grandparents. I have recently put up a review for the Farriers eatery which is now up the top by the house. Even if you are watching the pennies and just taking a walk, feeding the ducks in the ponds, swimming off the beaches or even having a picnic on one of the lawns or gardens it is a lovely spot. Parking is reasonable but it is Cornwall council and so, like everywhere now 7 days a week. If you do have a blue bath though, there are a handful of free spaces up by the house. If you are fit and fancy the hike then you can park at Maker and there is an honesty box and you can take in some wildlife and views as you walk down. So you have options. At the bottom by the Cremyll you can usually find the Edgcumbe arms. This tends to do nice food, depending on whether it is open due to the season or if current owners are making a go of it. Amid the gardens is The Orangery eatery. A pleasant if slightly pricey venue that is an old listed building. There is so much choice here in this country park it is worth a visit any time of the year.

What a fantastic place! Do not miss the amazingly interesting and enjoyable house tour with Brad, who is passionate about the house and it's history and happy to share his great knowledge. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, the short ferry ride easy. Highly recommended!

The fact this is a free park to walk around in the sun is brilliant. We did have to pay for parking but this is the UK after all. A wonderful day out at a beautiful park.

What a truly amazing place to visit an absolute bargain £10.50 per person for a guided tour. David our guide was an inspiration full of stories about the house so knowledgeable and animated. He made it feel like he was talking people as individual's and kept you engaged probably the best 2hrs I've ever spent in a stately home. The grounds and gardens are also amazing so much history. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend a visit.

Had an amazing day today on the grounds in general but thought I would leave a review purely for the guided tour I had of the house today. We were shown around by Brad, if I remembered his name wrong; it is the gent with the amazing moustache. He is beyond the realms of the average knowledge that any guide has for their subject. He knew an almost overwhelming amount about both the property and the family and explained it in equally vivid, interesting and thought provoking ways, whilst breaking up the information with some rather funny anecdotes. Very kind guy and I highly recommend opting in for the tour as it is absolutely worth it, both in regards to the house, it's furnishings and also the guide taking you around. He absolutely made our trip and I hope on our return he is still working there
